Top-Rated North Fulton Plastic Surgery Practice Adds Body Specialist

    ATLANTA, GA, August 25, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Marc Klein, a board-certified plastic surgeon, has joined Northside Plastic Surgery and will provide body sculpting procedures to the practice's clientele. He will complement Dr. Mike Majmundar, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon, who specializes in cosmetic facial procedures.

Klein has practiced plastic surgery in the northern Atlanta area for 20 years. He is a graduate of Duke University, where he earned a bachelor's of science degree in biology, as well as Rutgers Medical School. He graduated with honors from both.

Klein then completed a six-year residency in general surgery at the University of Maryland, followed by a two-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He was a research fellow in plastic surgery during his general surgery residency, and a trauma fellow at the prestigious Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital. He has published many articles and participated in plastic surgery research.

"I am excited about starting this new chapter in my career," Klein said. "Dr. Majmundar has established himself as a facial plastic surgery expert in the area, and my goal is to create the same high reputation for body surgery as he has for facial surgery."

Klein entered the field of plastic surgery being largely influenced by his own experience as a patient, when he was burned at the age of six. His experience instilled in him an appreciation of plastic surgery and the relationship between patient and physician.
