IRVINE, CA, September 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP (CDF), a leading California labor, employment and immigration law firm, is pleased to announce the launch of its social media photo-sharing campaign benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower injured veterans and their families.
The campaign, "We Heart Our Warriors," is part of an ongoing charitable partnership the firm started with WWP in 2014 in celebration of the firm's 20th anniversary. This year, the firm is harnessing the immense power of photo sharing on social media to help make a difference in the lives of wounded soldiers and their families. The partnership is especially meaningful for firm attorneys and staff who have served in the armed forces. Dave Carothers, partner in the firm's San Diego office, and who is featured in the campaign's launch video, served in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1979, and was awarded the Navy/Marine Corp Expeditionary Medal for services related to Iran.
The firm is enlisting its network of more than 45 attorneys and over 40 staff members in its five California offices, as well as its clients and friends to take the campaign viral on social media.
The campaign invites people to post a photo of themselves, or others, making a 'W' sign with their hands for Warriors, uploading it to their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram), tag the photo using #WeHeartOurWarriors, and then tag others challenging them to do the same. For each tagged photo uploaded, CDF has committed to generously donate $5 to WWP*. The campaign will run through the month of September, in honor of those served by WWP -- veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, or illness, on or following the devastating events of September 11, 2001. All photos collected can be viewed on the firm's website, http://www.CDFLaborLaw.com/weheartourwarriors.
"CDF is honored to support a nonprofit that assists service men and women who were injured on or after September 11, 2001," said Dave Carothers. "WWP stands ready to assist these brave warriors. Our goal was to develop a strategy to get others involved, raise awareness, and raise funds that will make a real difference in the lives of these service men, women, their families and their recovery. Please join us during the month of September, tagging your pictures with #WeHeartOurWarriors and challenging others to do the same!"
It's that simple ... Snap, Upload, Hashtag, Tag another! You can be part of making a difference in the lives of men and women who have bravely served their country and are still battling against visible and invisible wounds of war. See you, and your "W" online!
