Our success is based on three factors: (1) the advanced capabilities and continuous improvement of our products, (2) our commitment to data security, and (3) our people
ST. LOUIS, MO, September 12, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Global Vision Technologies' (GVT) is proud to announce its twentieth year as a leading developer of case management software for human services. GVT has achieved two decades of innovation and steady growth helping social service and healthcare agencies leverage technology to improve record keeping, workflow and outcomes.
GVT began operations in 1997 when Chris Freund, the company's founder and CTO, was approached to create a web based case management platform for a consortium of child welfare agencies in Missouri. Web-based case management did not exist at the time and GVT proceeded to build the first version of FAMCare. The early success of FAMCare indicated a growing demand for web based case management software and soon after, the state of Michigan's juvenile justice division awarded a multi-million dollar contract to GVT to build a statewide enterprise juvenile justice solution to track data on all of Michigan's troubled youth in the system.
For the last 20 years, GVT has added to their portfolio of software solutions and modules for the FAMCare system. These modules include: Pathways, an innovative form creation and services tracking tool; FAMCare Financial, a cost tracking and billing module including 837 electronic Medicaid billing; FAMCare HR, a human resources module; FAMCare EHR, a certified electronic healthcare records module; and OmniTrack Plus, an e-Learning module.
Global Vision Technologies is continually upgrading the existing products and this reflects the company's ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, powerful and robust solutions for social workers and human services organizations. "Our success and longevity is based on three factors: (1) the advanced capabilities and continuous improvement of our products, (2) our commitment to data security, and (3) our people, the team of experts that come from the nonprofit and social services community that understand the vexing business challenges that can keep an agency from moving forward or a client from seeing a better outcome," states George Ritacco, Executive Director Client Services.
As GVT's customer base has expanded during its twenty-year history, the company has focused on rounding out their solutions with an emphasis on training (the company offers a Master Certification Developer Program), consulting and empowering agencies to personalize and tailor the software on their own. These services help customers learn to apply and use FAMCare in specific ways that benefit their agencies. The emphasis is on allowing agencies to have a more cost effective solution to manage their data and prove their outcomes.
GVT's FAMCare software solution is built on their propriety development platform, Visions Server, which serves as the foundation for all of their products. The Visions Server is an innovative platform that allows for rapid form and workflow development, while helping to mitigate risk that can occur when programming systems from the ground up.
