The conference was held at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in The Point conference venue, which opened in 2010. With natural daylight and panoramic views of the world-famous cricket pitch, The Point offers a fantastic setting for business meetings and is frequently selected as the venue of choice for sales and marketing conferences.

Delegates gathered in the Ashes Suite for a 10 a.m. start time. The itinerary for the meeting included twelve guest speakers, among them, were some of the most high-profile entrepreneurs and business owners in the UK sales and marketing industry, with a number of the speakers among the award winners at the 2017 Sales & Marketing Awards held earlier this year in London. Each speaker had a designated subject to address attendees on, with topics including; 'mastering the basics of sales and marketing', 'laying solid business foundations', 'the importance of goal setting', 'how to separate yourself from competitors', 'how to coach and mentor aspiring professionals', 'how to have critical conversations' and 'the important role of social media and building a personal brand'.

With Syrac Inspirations recently expanding their market reach with the launch of a new project in Sheffield, Managing Director Rachel Robinson was particularly interested and inspired by the speakers who addressed laying solid business foundations and how to develop people. After the conference ended at 4:30 p.m. attendees had the opportunity to socialise and network during a cocktail hour.
