SANDSTONE, MN, September 27, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Sep 30 at 3 PM to Oct 1 at 1 AM Fundraiser for the Langford Family of Pine City. Reverend Demetrius and Sonia Langford have been through alot and have been trying to handle it on their own. Sonia will and has had many neural surgeries on the tumors she is suffering from that while not cancerous they are quite crippling. Demetrius works at the local Walmart, speaks on recovery and other odd jobs. Each month lot rent and mortgage fees undermine their progress and time is drawing near that it will become a crisis versus just trying to catch up.
The organization Together and Home at Last has been working with the Langford's since June to try and catch up the arrears on the property and the progress is slow because there really isn't any Grants or Funds set up to help when you fall behind, it's all about the crisis at the time. It was proposed that the American Legion Post 51 could host a fundraiser for veteran Rev. Demetrius Langford to help raise the needed funds.
Jeffery Blanks: Tahalast Chairman says " If we are going to fix Homelessness it will have to happen in conjunction with community supported efforts, like this fundraiser..."
Veteran homelessness is very high in this country and through efforts like these the chance to keep one veteran out of the statistics is very important in the greater scheme to end Homelessness for all.
Rev. Sonia Rae Langford - Jeff, May God touch their hearts.. Tell them I am going to say thank you to all for helping our family
Ending Homelessness is this Simple, when we work together...
