Dogtown Pizza to Participate in First-Ever Pizza Festival on The Hill

    ST. LOUIS, MO, October 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dogtown Pizza, a local frozen pizza company, will be participating in the city's first-ever pizza festival, St. Louis Square Off, Sun., October 8 at Berra Park on The Hill from noon to 5 p.m.

The festival, which is hosted by The Hill Neighborhood Association, will feature St. Louis-style pizzas from various local pizza retailers. Dogtown Pizza will present their famous hot wing pizza for public sampling.

Attendees will have the special opportunity to sample pizza from Dogtown Pizza and seven other participants, cast their votes for the best pizza, and help crown one of the vendors with the coveted title of "Best St. Louis Style Pizza."

Aside from pizza, beer, and other refreshments, there will be plenty of music, activities for children, art, local retailers, and several samples of other St. Louis food staples to enjoy, including toasted raviolis and gooey butter cake.

"We are so honored to be a participant in this first-ever event, which honors the unique pizza culture of our city," said Rick Schaper, owner of Dogtown Pizza. "We hope that many will come out to try our pizza, cast their votes, and have fun!"

The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Tickets cost $25 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets cover admission, the first pint of beer or non-alcoholic beverage, and a square of pizza from each participant for tasting. A portion of the sales will benefit Hill 2000, the neighborhood association of The Hill.
