ATLANTA, GA, October 15, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Unchained: The Purging of Black Students from Public School Education explores the system of public policy within public school education that has scarred the lives of many young Black students through school suspension, expulsion, and/or police arrest. This book is a contribution to the struggle of what it means to be Black in America. It gives a voice to the "voiceless" and those who have struggled to tell their side of the story about Zero Tolerance Policies in public schools (K-12) across America.
"This book is needed to "unchained" the minds of parents and caretakers of our Black children. Their physical involvement at these school houses is paramount," said Dr. Moses.
Many minority students will receive roughly three criminal charges on their police records well before they will ever receive a diploma. As a result, Unchained explains the zero tolerance policies of the public school systems and how the school Principal and the overzealous school Resource Officer play a pivotal role.
Unchained is available in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle format through major online retailers. For further details visit: http://www.drbmoses.com.
