CARMEL, IN, October 15, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A Non-profit Foundation, dedicated to arranging professional mentorships launches in Carmel, Indiana with the hope of developing the local talent pool for Indy's growing economy. Indy's recent status as a top 5 City in tech has left many businesses with a shortage of qualified candidates, and founder Matt Kelly hopes to change that.
"Working with Indianapolis based S.a.a.S. startups for over a decade, I've personally seen the value that solid mentorships can have on young professionals hoping to build a career, and be able to add value to the organizations they join. Now as someone who is building high preforming teams in tech myself, I want to help those who need a leg up find what they're looking for by arranging and nurturing structured mentorships.", says Founder Matt Kelly.
The Giving Growth Foundation will be focused on attracting young professionals and students who are looking to develop real skills they'll need to succeed after college, and then match them will mentors who may be able to hand down knowledge that isn't found in the classroom. Real world experience, and the wisdom that comes from "learning things the hard way" will be a big part of the guidance offered by Giving Growths' mentors.
Other skills like professional networking, reputation management, entrepreneurship, and industry insight will also be at the heart of many of the relationships forged and supported by Matt's team. There will also be a series of round table discussions that will allow groups of like minded members to share stories, and experiences together, bringing growth through group interaction.
