Over 100 customers and their families came to the game on September 26 and enjoyed an exciting win at the Mets game against the Atlanta Braves. Before the game, NRS provided tailgate staples like hot dogs and chips for those who attended. "The dinner before the game really gave us the opportunity to meet our customers and see our company from their perspective," Elie Y. Katz, President of NRS said. "We were incredibly moved to see how many of our customers came out."
Also in attendance were other NRS employees and IDT, opening lines of communications and offering customers the chance to voice concerns and encouragement to those who can affect change in the company.
At the end of the game, Katz mentioned that this is just one of the many ways that NRS demonstrates their gratitude towards their customers. "We will help promote their businesses across our networks as well, in advertising campaigns, and even in the press," Katz says.
Eli Korn, VP of NRS remarked on the event: "We share every milestone with the stores that buy our Point of Sale machine. We developed this system for them, and we do not take their business, time, or trust for granted." Korn continued by saying he and the company feel "so incredibly fortunate to be able to give these hardworking small-business owners a night off."
