Columbus Startup APPORTIS Named One Of the Most Innovative Startups in the US by Web Summit

    COLUMBUS, OH, October 27, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Philip Payne, founder of APPORTIS, will be taking his innovative health, employee engagement, and wellbeing solution overseas to Lisbon, Portugal from November 7-9.

APPORTIS is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to today's wellbeing and healthcare issues. APPORTIS was picked by the 2017 Web Summit as one of the most innovative startups in the U.S., earning its place in the startup exhibit.

Payne applied for the 2017 Web Summit ALPHA grant in early June, followed by a written questionnaire and a conference call with ALPHA coordinators. In late July, Web Summit shared the news he had been selected as an ALPHA attendee.

The ALPHA grant provides three complimentary tickets to the three-day exhibit and networking events during the evening hours. Along with tickets to various events, Web Summit will create and provide the APPORTIS trade show booth, allow access to workshops, roundtables and office hours throughout the event, and use of the Web Summit mobile app, allowing attendees to build connections prior to, during, and after the event.

With over 65,000 attendees, Web Summit is the largest tech conference in the world, making it the perfect opportunity for APPORTIS to find European Resellers and to continue to build brand awareness. During the conference, Payne will have a trade show booth, thanks to the ALPHA Award, in the startup exhibit where he will network and introduce the APPORTIS suite of solutions to investors and influencers from all over the world.
