NEW YORK NY, November 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Talent Tech Labs, hosted Talent Tech NEXT, an invite-only event focused on designing the Candidate Experience of the Future through innovative Candidate Experience (CX) technology. The event brought in approximately 130 attendees varying in profession from: Heads of Corporate Talent Acquisition, startup tech founders, and other HR & Staffing executives gathering at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
The keynote presentation was hosted by Ten-X's Chief of People Officer, Chris Galy. Galy unpacked insights for great Candidate Experience, problems that get in the way, and tips to leverage his team's proprietary Design Thinking model.
"Nearly a dozen staff members from the Ten-X's TA department assisted with what turned out to be a highly engaging and thought-provoking segue into the TTL startup exposition and funding round exercise. Galy had a great approach to applying Design Thinking to render the ultimate candidate experience," said Brian Delle Donne, President of Talent Tech Labs.
As a continued effort to expose emerging TA tech companies to investors and buyers, TTL's event hosted a Startup Exposition where 14 companies were offered the chance to network with TA experts on the upcoming challenges in the space, and what soon-to-release technologies are going to bring to the industry as top-selling solutions.
Technologies presented are specific to the three Ecosystem verticals critical to Candidate Experience (Source, Engage, and Select) and represent the seven key sub-verticals (Career Advice & Coaching, Candidate Relationship Management, Brand Creation & Management, Employer Reviews, Social Networks, Job Marketing & Distribution, and Behavior Assessments).
Following the exposition, TTL debuted a proprietary, new, SMS-based event-engagement tool, enabling attendees to transfer virtual "play money" to participating startups of their choice. Each guest began the "funding round" session with $10K in NEXTbucks. Investors were encouraged to "fund" only the companies they would invest in as a part of their organization's tech stack.
"This exercise allowed TTL to collect data on what types of technologies small, medium, and large companies are using. TTL will store and use in a report early next year," said Jonathan Kestenbaum (@JKestenbaum), Managing Director at Talent Tech Labs.
Over 100 HR Tech Buyers from renowned companies including: Nike, PWC, Visa, LinkedIn, and Crowe Horwath, participated in the funding exercise. Each buyer then voted for their favorite technology company with their NEXTBucks. The winner with the highest votes, Avrio AI, and second runner-up Hire360, were invited on the stage to present their recruitment tech solution to an audience of over 100 Talent Acquisition executives during the third session of the day's program.
"NEXT, just like all the other TTL events are highly valuable for companies like ours, because of direct, high-value conversations with some of the top HR Tech buyers in the world. We are grateful to be voted first, among so many great companies run by great people. I am grateful for all the hard work the TTL team has put into this event," said Nachi Junankar, CEO & Founder of Avrio AI, Inc.
"The Talent Tech Labs NEXT Conference was a spectacular experience. Not only did we get great exposure to executives in the Talent Acquisition space, but we also got to connect with some of the most innovative and disruptive new players in the industry. We look forward to the next one," said Alex Golimbievsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Hire360.
