PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 19, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacobs Law Group Founder and Managing Attorney Neal A. Jacobs is acting as course planner and will present as part of a CLE on business divorce for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
The program, "Business Divorce: Startup to Litigation to Resolution" will be held on Nov. 6 in Mechanicsburg, Nov. 8 in Philadelphia, and Nov. 13 in Pittsburgh. The program on Nov. 8 also will be simulcast to additional Pennsylvania locations: the Berks County Bar Association in Reading, King's College in Wilkes-Barre, the Westmoreland I.U. 7 in Greensburg, and York County Bar Center in York.
Designed to help lawyers, law clerks, and paralegals understand the complexities of business divorce, the program will cover essential strategies and tactics for dealing with the legal and business aspects of shareholder and partner disputes in privately held companies.
The course will help attendees learn what they must know when advising a client involved in a business divorce:
- Identify the various parties and positions
- Understand the multiple issues that must be considered
- Business law issues
- Litigation issues
- Computer Forensics
- Ethics
