"We hope the scholarship helps the recipient pay for college and work towards an education that furthers their ability to assist people and families struggling with alcohol addiction,"
DALLAS, TX, December 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Randall Blair Isenberg Alcohol Addiction Awareness Scholarship will award a deserving student with a $500 scholarship for college. The scholarship aims to raise awareness of alcohol addiction and resources for those addicted and their families.
Applicants must write an essay and submit a resume that demonstrates a history of raising alcohol addiction awareness via volunteer, educational, or professional experience.
Randall B. Isenberg is a former State District Judge and Chief Felony Prosecutor. He currently works as a criminal defense attorney out of his Dallas-based Law Offices of Randall B. Isenberg, where he represents people facing criminal charges, including driving while intoxicated (DWI) and other alcohol-related crimes. He has seen firsthand how alcohol addiction destroys lives, careers, and families.
"Throughout my career I've encountered people with three, four, or more DWI arrests who are paying lofty car insurance premiums or lost their license altogether," said Isenberg. "Some people have trouble getting a job, making it difficult to pay the bills and support their family. And then there are those who caused serious injuries or killed others due to their drunk driving."
Isenberg created the scholarship to reward those devoted to helping people affected by alcohol addiction. "We hope the scholarship helps the recipient pay for college and work towards an education that furthers their ability to assist people and families struggling with alcohol addiction," Isenberg said.
Those interested in applying for the scholarship should visit the Randall Blair Isenberg Alcohol Addiction Awareness Scholarship page. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2018.
