ST. LOUIS, MO, December 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hanukkah storytelling, games for children, and a singing presentation will be featured at the 24th annual Hanukkah Celebration to be held 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Schnucks Ladue Crossing shopping center, I-170 at Ladue Road. The event will take place at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
The Hanukkah Celebration, emceed by Rabbi Yaakov Green Headmaster of HF Epstein Hebrew Academy, features Hanukkah storytelling with master educator Mrs. Jackie Oppenheimer, and Hanukkah songs. The event will also feature STEAM games and crafts.
All children will receive a free gift of traditional Hanukkah chocolate "gelt" (gold coins). Hanukkah begins the evening of December 12 and is an eight-day celebration of the Festival of Lights commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple.
The Hanukkah Celebration is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the friendly merchants at Schnucks Ladue Crossing including Schnucks, Barnes & Noble, Cobblestone Shoe Repair, Crown Optical, European Wax Center, Fannie May, Globe Cleaners, GNC Live Well, Great Clips, Ladue Nails, Maggie Moo's, Mathnasium, MOD Pizza, Old Navy, Oreck Clean Home, Pac Dental, Pei Wei Asian Diner, Pure Barre, St. Luke's Urgent Care Center, The Bedroom Store, The Joint, and Treats Unleashed.
