"Receiving the Spirit of Hope Award is a deeply meaningful honor to me," Dr. Orringer said, "But it is my remarkable patients who bring true inspiration and set an example of tremendous courage and strength in the face of challenge. It is they who, on a daily basis, exemplify the spirit of hope and determination to live life fully."
More than 600 people attended the 11th Annual Spirit of Hope Luncheon & Boutique, which was held on Oct. 9 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. According to the Beverly Hills Courier, this year's Spirit of Hope Award is "a testament to [Dr. Orringer's] understanding of, and impact upon, his cancer patients, and his ability to inspire hope in his patients."
