NATICK, MA, January 05, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, announces the opening of its newest school in Natick, Massachusetts, located at 217 West Central Street Natick, Massachusetts 01760. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 19, the community is invited to a grand opening party on Saturday, January 20 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Guests will enjoy free tours, live music from local School of Rock students, raffle prizes, free food, and a special performance by local musician Will Dailey.
School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging learning environment to develop skills on guitar, drums, bass, keyboards, and vocals. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Frank Zappa. Thanks to the school's performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior instrumental skills and confidence on the big stage, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.
Natick franchisees Craig and Nicole Small fell in love with the School of Rock concept after witnessing a nearby School of Rock live performance. Even as an accomplished singer-songwriter, session guitarist, producer, and graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Craig was "blown away" by their confidence and musical acumen. After consulting with his wife, Nicole, the pair began considering how to become involved with the School of Rock, and the rest is history.
"This is our first opening of 2018, and we couldn't be happier to partner with Craig and Nicole to bring School of Rock to even more Massachusetts students," said School of Rock CEO, Rob Price. "The Smalls will offer enormous passion and talent to aspiring musicians in Natick and the surrounding communities."
"Writing, creating and performing music is something that's in my veins, I can't not do it. When my wife and I found School of Rock we quickly realized this was the perfect way to share our passion for art with a new generation of musicians," said School of Rock Natick franchisee Craig Small. "We're looking forward to serving the people of Natick, Framingham, Wellesley, Ashland, and the entire Metro West area."
