BRIDGEWATER, NJ, January 04, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Noted hospitality expert Glenn Haussman will deliver the keynote speech at the 5th annual Somerset County Salute to Tourism Awards event, which recognizes individuals, organizations and venues that have made a positive economic impact through tourism activities in the central New Jersey county. The event will be held on Friday, January 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Bernard's Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road in Bernardsville, N.J.; it draws leaders in tourism and business from throughout Somerset County and surrounding areas.
Widely recognized as one of the hospitality industry's top speakers, Haussman is the president of Rouse Media, a hospitality brand consultancy, and host of his popular weekly travel podcast, "No Vacancy." The show, which was selected by USA Today as one of the top podcasts to listen to while traveling, attracts hospitality's biggest names in as guests and is listened to by leisure and business travelers as well as industry professionals. Through "No Vacancy" and his frequent speaking and training engagements, Haussman shares insights into lodging trends and creating a superior customer experience, garnered throughout his 20 years of experience in the hospitality field. Somerset County's Salute to Tourism awards honor employees and organizations throughout Somerset County, N.J. in three categories: Economic Champion, Service Excellence and Tourism Champion. The program pays tribute to front line tourism staff and organizations that set the bar for the Somerset County Tourism industry. The awards selection committee comprises representatives from fellow New Jersey Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs).
