Keynotes from BBH and Northern Trust Announced for ISITC's Securities Operations Summit

    BOSTON, MA, January 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ISITC (The International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication), the industry trade group focused on standards in transaction processing and related communications, announced today that Michael F. McGovern, Managing Director of Brown Brothers Harriman, and Dan Houlihan, EVP and Head of Global Fund Services for Northern Trust, will be keynote speakers at the 24th Annual Securities Operations Summit, to be held March 18-21 in Boston.

McGovern serves as the Head of Brown Brothers Harriman's Investor Services Fintech offerings, while Houlihan services Northern Trust's asset management clients. Both of the keynotes will provide insight into how emerging technologies are impacting and shaping the financial services industry.

For the last 27 years ISITC has provided members with the means to influence the securities transaction process through collaboration and practical applications for new technologies. This year's conference theme, Financial Services Disrupted: Navigating Change, will continue this tradition by focusing on practical guidance around the technology revolution going on in the financial services industry.

Topics that will be covered in this year's agenda include machine learning, distributed ledger technology, cybersecurity, and the financial services industry's relationship with the government.
