Dmitriy Katsnelson Named Chief Investment Officer of Bronfman Rothschild

    ROCKVILLE, MD, January 18, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bronfman Rothschild, an independent investment advisor based in Rockville, Maryland, announced today that it has named Dmitriy Katsnelson as its Chief Investment Officer.

As CIO, Katsnelson will lead the firm's investment committee and provide solutions to its financial advisors encompassing money manager due diligence, asset allocation, and oversight of investment selections for Bronfman Rothschild's more than $6.1 billion* in client assets. Until now, Katsnelson served as Director of Investment Research and as a member of the firm's investment committee.

Prior to joining Bronfman Rothschild in 2015, Katsnelson was the Chair of Strategic Investment and Asset Allocation Committees with Fortigent/LPL Financial, where he was responsible for overseeing more than $3 billion in discretionary managed models. He has also worked as an analyst with Harley Davidson and Merrill Lynch. He received his B.S. in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland.

Bronfman Rothschild has made several recent enhancements to build out its operational infrastructure as it seeks to scale its business. In August, the firm announced the hiring of Michael LaMena as President and COO, who is leading the firm's infrastructure build out, integration of new teams and identifying additional opportunities for growth while maintaining the firm's client-first culture.
