McArthur's Bakery Closing Chesterfield Olive Location January 21

    CHESTERFIELD, MO, January 20, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- McArthur's Bakery will be closing the doors of one of its Chesterfield stores, located at 13700 Olive Boulevard, on Sun., January 21.

The local bakery chain, which has been serving the St. Louis region since 1956, is shifting its focus from brick-and-mortar stores to online orders and delivery.

"We are seeing more and more facets of business headed in the direction of online services, particularly in the food industry," said Scott Rinaberger, owner of McArthur's Bakery. "In order to stay ahead of the curve, we need to reallocate some of our resources to help free up and increase our productivity to support the shift in how we reach our customers. Delivery and online ordering is very convenient to our customers, and we want to be the first bakery to deliver to homes throughout the St. Louis region. This new service allows us to immediately serve customers in St. Charles County, Edwardsville, and other communities without the need for new locations."

Rinaberger also expressed gratitude for McArthur's loyal customer base.
