Benton Economic Partnership Launches New Website to Highlight Area's Economic Assets

    BENTON COUNTY, MN, January 22, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The new Benton Economic Partnership website highlights its member investors and offers a picture of Benton County's economic assets for prospective businesses and workers. Benton Economic Partnership is excited to share the area's mix of urban and rural advantages through the website. The organization believes "Benton County has been a closely held secret for far too long and needs to break out of its shell and tell the world why it's so great to be here."

"It was important for us to have a web presence that would allow us to highlight the economic assets embedded in Benton County," said Executive Director John Uphoff. "Benton Economic Partnership is entering its second year of operation and this project allows us to more effectively connect with our member investors and provides us an opportunity to promote their businesses as a sign of our community's collective support for economic development."

The online economic development portal brings business assistance resources together in a central, easy-to-navigate website. Users will find information about available property, business incentives, business climate and demographics as well as employment and education resources. The online tool will serve as an entry point for site selectors, businesses and new residents who are considering locating in Benton County.

To create and design the online portal, Benton Economic Partnership selected the national economic development communications firm Golden Shovel Agency. Recognized for its award winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction, Golden Shovel Agency created a visually-rich website that effectively tells Benton County's narrative.
