WASHINGTON, DC, January 30, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment is hosting its 8th Annual Conference, "Investing for a Sustainable World," from May 30 - June 1, 2018 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference gives attendees an opportunity to hear from leading investors, CEOs and policymakers, learn about new approaches, trends and policy developments in the field and network with leaders in the field of sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI).
More than 450 participants are expected including representatives from investment management and advisory firms, asset owners, research firms, financial planners and advisors, broker-dealers and community investing institutions and corporate leaders and policy makers.

Immediately before the opening of the conference on May 31, US SIF will offer a three-hour class on the Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The course, which requires a separate registration fee, is an introductory resource for investment advisors, financial planners and other financial professionals who want to learn the basics of sustainable, responsible and impact investment.
The Peter DeSimone Student Scholarship Program, now in its fifth year, provides six undergraduate or graduate students interested in a career in sustainable investment with an opportunity to attend the conference.
