Actress and Animal Activist Leesa Rowland Hosts Animal Ashram's Vegan Pop-Up Penthouse

    NEW YORK, NY, February 02, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Join Actress and Animal Activist Leesa Rowland at Animal Ashram's Pop-Up Penthouse on Feb 7, 2018 at Hotel on Rivington (107 Rivington St, New York, NY 10002). The non-profit Animal Ashram will create a one-day only haven for animals and humans.

Guests will enjoy a fun filled day of animal adoptions, vegan shopping bazaar, yoga, healthy snacks and cocktail party, benefiting Animal Ashram in support of rescue dogs and cats. Animal Ashram is partnering with Animal Haven to fascinate the pet adoptions at the event.

We have an incredible line up of cruelty free clothing brands, handbags, nail polish, vegan food vendors and an array of yoga teacher for the event.

- 7:00AM Sunrise Yoga Class (Medium/Hard) - Marie Belle

- 8:30AM Warrior Yoga Class (Easy) - Michelle Moody-Stratton

- 10:00AM Wake up! Rise and Shine Yoga! (Easy/Medium) - Rebecca Rasmussen

- 1:00PM Vinyasa Yoga Class - (Hard) Michelle Moody-Stratton

- 2:30PM Flow Yoga Class (Easy) - Danielle Ribaudo

- 4:00PM Hour Mediation Class (Easy)

- 5:00PM Sunset Yoga Class (Medium/Hard) - Marie Belle

- 6:00PM Cocktail Event (not a yogi - this $50 ticket gets you into the cocktail portion)

There will be 6 yoga classes offered ranging from sunrise yoga, warrior flow to yoga core and vinyasa. World renown teacher Marie Belle (Raleigh, North Carolina) who has been extensively studying, practicing, teaching and traveling through the world will be leading the day alongside Michelle Moody-Stratton (Puerto Rico.)

Animal Ashram provides grants and funding to worthy organizations and individuals offering sanctuary to homeless and helpless animals of all species. Animal Ashram respects and promotes the oneness of life and the principles of ahimsa. Our not-for-profit mission is to raise money for a variety of educational and public outreach programs, provide funding resources and raise awareness of equality of life among all living beings.

About Animal Ashram Founder, Leesa Rowland
An actress and author from Rockport and Austin, Texas. She was raised along the Texas Gulf Coast where she learned strong family values and reliance on self-motivation. Her acting career includes both television and full length movie productions. In 2015 she authored a book entitled Discovering the IT Factor Within You. In 2013 she founded a not-for-profit organization known as "Animal Ashram" which is dedicated to education and raising awareness about the plight of abused and mistreated animals of all kinds. Ms. Rowland is a devout vegan, animal activist and spokesperson for animal rights.
