Bronfman Rothschild Receives CEFEX Certification for Third Year in a Row

    ROCKVILLE, MD, February 13, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bronfman Rothschild today announced that, for the third year in a row, the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) has certified the firm's Plan Advisor team to its fiduciary standards of excellence. Bronfman Rothschild Plan Advisors is part of a select group who has completed this independent certification process, with only three CEFEX certified firms in the state of Wisconsin and one of only four CEFEX certified firms in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The firm's Plan Advisor group oversees $2.2 billion of Bronfman Rothschild's $6.1 billion in assets under management*.

According to CEFEX, its standard describes how an investment advisor assumes responsibility for managing a client's overall investment management process, which includes the selection, monitoring and replacement of investment managers, as well as developing a process to implement investment strategies and fiduciary practices on an ongoing basis.

CEFEX assessment process is based on the international standard, ISO 19011: Guideline for quality management system auditing. The assessment is evidence-based, and all work is reviewed by the CEFEX Registration Committee to ensure impartiality and consistency. The assessment typically includes document review, client file sampling, on-site visits and interviews with senior representatives at the firm. The assessment is conducted by CEFEX Analysts who must hold the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst designation and a minimum of the ASPPA 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation for ASPPA certifications.
