BUCHEON, KOREA, February 24, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ARTIBO, an interactive wireless modular robotics set that allows children to experience the basics of coding & AI, has launched on MWC 2018. ARTIBO aims to expose young minds to coding and technology through fun and dynamic blocks and simple coding programs.

More information about the innovation behind ARTIBO is available at www.cubroid.com.

"In the technologically advanced world that we live in today, coding & AI education has become increasingly important," says Founder and CEO, Mark Shin, who has leveraged a background in educational technology. "We have looked to classic toy items to bring a productive and valuable idea to life."

Unlike other educational coding & AI products, ARTIBO is impressively easy-to-use and fun. There are two distinct types of building blocks that exhibit unique features. Each box houses a wireless module and camera and microphone and LCD display and speaker and motor, and the connecting features of the blocks function through wireless communication. The blocks encourage creativity, as they can be assembled in various fashions and intelligent robots can be created.

ARTIBO is paired with a control coding smartphone & pc web application that enhances the educational aspect of the product. Children can use the application to engage with and prompt movement in their unique block structures. Additionally, a more advanced online AI program, Platform (Smart Toy AI platform), is available to be explored by those who want to take their coding & AI skills to the next level. The paired programs and applications can be connected via Wi-Fi and do not involve complicated installation procedures.

Jason Kwak, the CTO at Cubroid, adds, "Our kit is multidimensional, and we truly believe that children will genuinely enjoy learning through ARTIBO. We have thoughtfully designed the blocks and the programs with the optimal user experience in mind."

Pre-order of ARTIBO is available from June of 2018 on Kickstarter, and it is a consumer-ready product.

During the Kickstarter Campaign, the product can be pre-ordered starting at $99 for the Early Bird Basic Kit with retail pricing expected to be $199 for the Basic Kit.
