"Performance apparel sales have historically shown growth when paired with true innovation," offered Lumpkin. "We think DRYV can serve as a catalyst for growth in marketplace hungry for fresh ideas."
ATLANTA, GA, April 19, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- DRYV®, the patented textile technology that integrates an absorbent exterior directly intro performance garments, today announced that Michael Lumpkin has been named as its Head of Business Development, with a focus on growing the roster of apparel brands and companies licensing DRYV's intellectual property.
Lumpkin has over twenty-five years experience bringing performance apparel and technical products to retail, most recently as National Accounts Manager for Amer Sports, who own and manage global brands such as Arc'teryx, Salomon and Wilson Sporting Goods. He is also a Co-Founder of Uber Group, a sales agency founded in 2005 specializing in Outdoor and Tactical Goods.
"We couldn't be more excited to welcome Michael to the DRYV team, and to bringing our business development efforts in-house," said Michael Luscher, Founder & CEO of DRYV Technologies. "With his knowledge of the apparel industry and experience building a hugely successful sales agency from the ground up, Michael's background is exactly what we need to get DRYV out to a larger audience of apparel brands and consumers."
DRYV currently has four non-exclusive licensees incorporating its patented technology into performance apparel lines designed for basketball, e-sports, and functional fitness. With a focus on activities that demand dry hands, DRYV is in active discussions with prospective licensees manufacturing performance apparel for golf, tactical, tennis, yoga, training and a host of other activities.
"Performance apparel sales have historically shown growth when paired with true innovation," offered Lumpkin. "We think DRYV can serve as a catalyst for that growth in marketplace hungry for fresh ideas."
An avid rock climber and outdoorsman, Michael was drawn to the potential applications for DRYV across activities he regularly engages in around the greater Atlanta area, where he lives with his wife and two crazy kids.
DRYV Technologies, LLC (www.dryvtechnology.com) launched in 2017, owns and licenses patented textile technology that integrates an absorbent outer layer into a moisture wicking garment – like a towel built directly into your gear. Developed for any activity where sweat inhibits performance, DRYV® is available for license by apparel partners in the performance sports, culinary, medical, military/tactical and law enforcement industries.
