WILMINGTON, NC, May 18, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Miracles happen all around us every day and have been happening throughout the ages. Some people may disagree with this of course, as not everyone believes in miracles. But the question here is, "What is a miracle?" A piece on ChristianHeadlines.com by J. Warner Wallace entitled "Woman Says It's a Miracle Her Wallet Blocked Bullets and Saved Her Life," made an important point. In that article Wallace stated that those who believe in the science-based Big Bang theory might believe in at least one supernatural idea, as space, matter and time could not have simply been self-created. Something outside of space, matter and time caused that Big Bang. The "cause" of the natural universe likely cannot be explained by natural law. The writer, formerly an atheist, became a Christian and has written a book about the subject.
In a general sense, miracles are events that cannot be explained by natural law. While we might like to believe that the word "miracle" applies only to water that changes into wine or other ancient, miraculous events, the fact is that nearly all of us have experienced events that simply have no natural explanation. That could include bullets stopped by wallets. It is not up to us to judge the meaning or purpose of these kind of events, and these events are beyond current human understanding. If we hope to understand, we must start by keeping an open mind.
Donna Louis helps readers explore miracles both past and present. Her book, 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision and Miracles of Purpose' explores biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth. She then references with miracles that take place on a daily basis in the modern world. She separates these miracles into four categories and presents insightful example of each type, taken directly from the Bible.
Louis knows her subject well, as she has personally experienced four miracles. As the result of those life-altering experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. In her book, she attempts to expand upon and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles.
Donna will be donating 100% of proceeds from sales of her books from Payhip to March For Our Lives until September 30, 2018. The book is available with discounted pricing at Payhip at http://www.payhip.com/themagic.
