"A fantastically fun space adventure packed full of SoloCopter Lifts, Noot the Tall and Terrible, and a big robot called Cantobor."—A 'Wishing Shelf' Book Review
AUSTIN, TX, July 24, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Imagination influences everything humans do, from formulating meaningful theories, pursuing cherished goals and dreams, and developing life-changing inventions. Imagination plays an important role in achieving success in any field as an adult, and so it must be nurtured in the developing mind of a child. Indeed, for children, imaginary play is a vital part of growth and development. Don Winn's new picture book, Space Cop Zack: The Lost Treasure of Zandor (Available August 21, 2018) explores the endless capacity of a child's imagination while providing children with a model of how they can use their imaginations to make ordinary household items part of an extraordinary imaginary adventure. In this third installment of the Space Cop Zack series, Zack and his trusty robot companion, GARG, are racing the nefarious Captain Menace to find a lost treasure buried deep in the caverns of Zandor. Along the way, Captain Menace sends his three trustiest minions to try and stop Zack and GARG. Will they beat the evil captain to the lost treasure?
"I want Space Cop Zack, The Lost Treasure of Zandor to encourage children to create their own adventures. The best adventures don't rely on expensive toys or electronic devices, but on seeing the world with new eyes," says Winn. "As a child, my imagination transformed a big cardboard box into a rocket ship, submarine, or anything else I could imagine. These days, children seem to rely more on video games than imagination, and, as a result, they are missing out on the enriching experiences that imaginative play has to offer," Winn reveals. "The Lost Treasure of Zandor teaches children that their imaginations can take them anywhere."
Filled with fantastic illustrations and endless adventure, Space Cop Zack: The Lost Treasure of Zandor is the perfect picture book for any child.
