BOSTON, MA, August 02, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ceeable, Inc. has been granted international patents for the "Automated Feature Analysis, Comparison, and Anomaly Detection." The patents were issued in Mexico, China, and Japan. The new set of patents are the international equivalents of US patents, 9,122,956 and 9,424,489, and together provide a comprehensive proprietary foundation for the company's digital health products.
The patents disclose novel methods and systems for automated data analysis based on a proprietary algorithm. Data can be automatically analyzed to determine features and test results in different applications, such as in ophthalmology. The technology will be used to automatically determine the results from visual field testing of optic nerve and retinal disease.
A key aspect of the patents is the data analysis framework that allows for the comparison of visual field data between patients. Moreover, it enables the ability to track how visual fields develop over time due to disease progression or treatment. As such, the data analysis framework paves the way for subsequent employment of machine learning and deep learning techniques.
Ceeable has an exclusive license to the technology from Caltech.
