Scholarship Offered at One-day Retreat that Helps Overwhelmed, Busy Women Focus on Self-care

    AUSTIN, TX, August 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The retreat will take place on October 27, 2018, from 8 am – 5 pm at Onion Creek Kitchens at Juniper Hills Farm in Dripping Springs, Texas. This location brings attendees closer to nature, where they can enjoy peace, and the company of the farm's animals, too. Since it's only one day, it's ideal for busy women. The day's itinerary includes acoustic guitar music, vegetarian cuisine, guided journaling, a nature walk, breakout sessions to cook or do yoga nidra, and of course, free time.

The retreat is hosted by me, Sandra K. Foreman, founder of The Spa in Me, LLC. My personal story of burnout inspired me to start The Spa in Me, a coaching company for women. I am a wife, mother, and lawyer, who slowly burned out and became dissatisfied and lost. I then learned that I had to take better care of myself to go on. I now teach these lessons to busy career women and harried moms.

The Spa in Me, LLC, is also offering its first annual scholarship. The scholarship will cover lodging for one woman at Onion Creek Kitchens at Juniper Hills Farm, from check-in at 3:00 p.m., on October 26, 2018, until check-out at 12:00 pm, on Sunday at October 28, 2018. It will also cover the Rest, Reset and Restore Retreat on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 8a.m. - 5.pm.

The application process started August 1, 2018, and ends on August 31, 2018. A scholarship committee of five women will make the scholarship decision.
