REDROVER, Family Animation 'Mega Racer' to be Out in Theaters in 2020 Expected to Attend Global Exhibitions to Monitor Market Reactions

    GYEONGGI-DO, KOREA, October 24, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- REDROVER plans to introduce 'Mega Racer', an animation film currently under production, by participating in video and broadcasting contents fair 'MIPCOM 2018' held in France from Monday, October 15 to Thursday, October 18 and 'American Film Market' in the U.S from Wednesday, October 31 to Wednesday, November 7.

In 2008, REDROVER jointly produced various works such as the world's first 3D TV series 'Bolts & Blip' and 'The Beet Party' through strategic business partnership with Toonbox Entertainment, which is a famous Canadian animation studio. Especially, 3D animation film 'The Nut Job' was released in North America on January 17, 2014 through a major Hollywood film distributor Openroad Films, and it was released in all other parts of the world through WeinStein Company.

Animation 'Mega Racer' will be released in 2020 in 3D and 4D formats and will have a story of both humor and moving narrative. There is much attention towards how REDROVER will realize in front of the audience its CGI animation technology accumulated through 'The Nut Job' franchise.

Meanwhile, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency will be supporting overseas promotions and marketing of 'MIPCOM 2018' and American Film Market as part of '2018 Global CGI Joint Production Project'. This will be carried out by the Next Generation Convergence Contents Industry Association to facilitate technological exchanges and create the foundation of international joint production by connecting domestic companies and overseas CGI companies. It will also provide opportunities to pioneer overseas channels through overseas market trend analysis, business counseling, discovering new buyers, and new contract singing.
