Alfred Imageworks to Embark on Global Expansion with 'CGI Character Animation' Will Participate in Overseas Exhibitions such as 'MIPCOM' and 'AFM'

    SEOUL, KOREA, October 24, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alfred Imageworks seeks to embark on its global expansion by participating in 'MIPCOM 2018', a video and broadcasting contents fair held in France from Monday, October 15 to Thursday, October 18 and 'American Film Market' in the U.S from Wednesday, October 31 to Wednesday, November 7.

Established in 2003 with a vision of 'combining 3D animations and designs', 'Alfred Imageworks' has worked on various projects such as advertising, broadcasting, animation, and character designs with motion graphic art for more than 10 years.

The company is currently focusing on game cinematic production and self-animation IP development based on CGI character animation. As a professional production company with experiences in various styles of animation planning and production, Alfred Imageworks mainly develops animation contents and produces game cinematic animations as its business.

CEO Jong-hoo Park of Alfred Imageworks said "We are currently developing a full-length animation of 'Johnny Express' with Illumination and are also planning on 'The First Step', a new theater animation. Meanwhile, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) will be actively supporting overseas promotions and marketing of 'MIPCOM 2018' and American Film Market as part of '2018 Global CGI Joint Production Project'. This will be directly carried out by Next Generation Convergence Contents Industry Association to facilitate technological exchanges and create the foundation of international joint production by connecting domestic companies and overseas CGI companies. It will also provide opportunities to pioneer overseas channels by analzying overseas market trends, business counseling, discovering new buyers, and new contracts.
