The Law Firm of Kurtz & Blum, PLLC, Announces $1,500 Fall 2018 Scholarship Essay Contest
The Raleigh, North Carolina law firm will award two scholarships worth a combined $1,500 to current and prospective college students from anywhere in the U.S. who write winning essays.
RALEIGH, NC, November 30, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The law firm of Kurtz & Blum, PLLC, is accepting entries for its Fall 2018 Scholarship Essay Contest, which will award two scholarships worth a combined total of $1,500 to the students who submit winning essays.
The first-place scholarship will be worth $1,000, while the second-place scholarship will be worth $500. You can find complete information about the contest by going to the Raleigh, North Carolina-based law firm's website.
The contest is open to any U.S. citizen or legal permanent U.S. resident who is currently enrolled in high school, undergraduate college or graduate school. To enter, students must submit an original essay of no more than 750 words and comply with all contest rules.
The essay must describe the "Me Too" movement and its impact on society. The essay should focus on how the movement affects the student personally as well as the student's family, friends and other individuals that the student encounters at school, work and elsewhere.
Only one entry per student is allowed. Students must complete all entry requirements by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018.
The law firm will announce the two scholarship award winners on Friday, January 4, 2019.
