SAN DIEGO, CA, December 01, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design and Remodeling has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve "Toys for Tots" holiday toy drive for a 14th consecutive year. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Jackson Design & Remodeling showroom located at 4797 Mercury Street in Kearny Mesa from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through December 18.
"It's an honor to partner up with our U.S. Marines to help provide toys for underprivileged children in our community," said Todd Jackson, President of Jackson Design and Remodeling. "Donating a toy is such a meaningful way to bring joy to families who might otherwise go without the small wonders that make the holidays so special for kids."
The Jackson Design and Remodeling team collects the toys donated and delivers them to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve where they are sorted by age and gender. At Christmas, the USMCR with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distributes the toys to the less fortunate children of the community. The purpose of the Toys for Tots program is to send a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
