"The beauty about having our own mill is that we have control over what we put in our feeds."
COLTON, CA, January 08, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chino Valley Ranchers' It Starts With Our Feed video offers a glimpse into a commitment spanning 25 years, raising poultry fed with premium organic corn, soybean, alfalfa, flax seed, and other select seeds. Chino Valley Ranchers' three specialties of eggs: Organic, Organic Omega-3, and Omega-3 Soy-Free are produced by poultry raised on specially-formulated feeds that have been designed and optimized by a staff Avian Nutritionist.
Organic, non-GMO grain is sourced domestically, throughout the Midwest, and globally. Varieties of feed are formulated and milled on-site, giving Chino Valley Ranchers the ability to maintain their eggs' high quality and unique nutritional properties.
In the video, Vice President of Chino Valley Ranchers, Chris Nichols, says "The beauty about having our own mill is that we have control over what we put in our feeds." Feed formulations do not contain hormones, animal proteins, steroids, or antibiotics.
Each Organic Omega-3 egg contains 225 mg of Omega-3, or alpha-linoleic acid (ALA). Organic Omega-3 Soy Free eggs are produced from hens raised in free-range environments and fed a custom, soy-free diet containing flax seeds and other quality grains. All the grains and seeds provided to the birds are grown on certified organic, pesticide free fields.
Chino Valley Ranchers hens and chickens are raised in a cage-free environment and all areas of production, from the feed mill to the processing plant, are inspected to ensure compliance with the CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) standards.
