    DENVER, CO, February 07, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rocky Mountain Urgent Care & Family Medicine is pleased to welcome Dr. Stephen Carmel, MD to our Denver family medicine practice located at the Rose Medical Center. Dr. Carmel earned his undergraduate from the University of Virginia and went on to earn his medical degree at The Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. After medical school, Dr. Carmel completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Stephen P. Carmel, MD, is board trained in internal medicine and hematology and board certified in addictive disorders. He treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions for adult patients, including chronic disease states, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol problems, asthma, COPD, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, UTI and prostate.

A Virginia native, Dr. Carmel has resided in Colorado for more than 40 years and enjoys his family including his children, their spouses and grandchildren. In addition, he enjoys traveling and all forms of art and music. His hobbies include photography and the automobile culture, especially English cars.
