BOSTON, MA, February 19, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ISITC, the industry trade group focused on developing standards and best practices in financial services operations, announced Satyam Panday, Senior Economist, S&P Global, will be one of the featured speakers at its 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit. Satyam Panday's session will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the InterContinental in Boston, MA.
In his session, "US Macroeconomic Outlook: Growth, Interest Rates, and Risk of a Recession", Dr. Panday will provide an overview of the current US economic landscape, including GDP growth, unemployment rate, and interest rate prospects. He will also discuss key near- and long-term risks to the economic outlook, including risks from trade, monetary, and fiscal policies.

In Dr. Panday's position at S&P Global, he develops US economic forecasts for ratings, provides insight into the US macro-economic outlook, and develops thought pieces on economic policy actions. Before joining S&P Global in 2013, Satyam taught undergraduate and graduate economics courses at Boston College and Brandeis University. Previously, he had been a research fellow in the macroeconomic analysis division at the Congressional Budget Office in Washington DC.
The 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit will cover the theme "Financial Services Disrupted: Charting the Course" and will run from March 24-27, 2019. The three-day conference will attract over 200 leading industry executives to discuss and collaborate on topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, the future of data management, distributed ledger technology, API strategy, and gender diversity in the industry.
