Precision Lead Screws

Standard lead screw diameters range from 1/8" to 5/8", and can handle dynamic loads up to 350lbs (static loads up to 1,750lbs ). Left and right-hand threaded shafts are available, as is the option to add custom machining to the lead screw. Thread forms include Trapezoidal and Acme types. Customers can also choose from an array of nut types and materials to perfectly suit their application.

"This new line of lead screws provides customers with a much more cost efficient option for applications carrying slow and/or light loads. Lead screws are also self-lubricating and corrosion resistant," says Anaheim Automation Applications Engineer, Jeff Childs. "Additionally, lead time on out of stock lead screws is significantly shorter than that of comparable ball screws."
