ISITC Announces SWIFT's David Scola as Featured Speaker for 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit

Scola's session will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the InterContinental in Boston, MA.

In his session "Technology Trends in Financial Services: Enabling Change & Transformation," Scola will explain how firms can utilize transformative technologies to remain competitive and relevant. During this interactive discussion, Scola will speak with senior leaders across the financial services industry to assess future threats and opportunities, and empower attendees to develop their own strategies based on the reality of technology-driven disruption.

As SWIFT's Head of North America, Scola is responsible for key client relationships and business development across the region with a focus on driving growth in global payments innovation. Prior to joining SWIFT, Scola served as the Global Head of Financial Institutions of Corporate Banking at Barclays London. Previously, he held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and Bank of New York in product management and strategy across various transaction banking products, including custody, corporate trust, cash, trade, and liquidity.

The 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit theme this year is "Financial Services Disrupted: Charting the Course" and will run from March 24-27, 2019. The three-day conference will attract over 200 leading industry executives to discuss and collaborate on topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, the future of data management, distributed ledger technology, API strategy, and gender diversity in the industry.
