Northwestern Mutual-St.Louis Golf Classic Set For May 2

    ST. LOUIS, MO, April 06, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Northwestern Mutual-St. Louis announces it fourth annual Golf Classic will be held May 2, 2019 at Glen Echo Country Club, 3401 Lucas and Hunt Road in St. Louis, MO. The funds raised will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer research.

The Golf Classic includes a four-man team scramble format with a buffet lunch, special contests, raffles and happy hour. In addition, the event will be highlighted by a special appearance by Liz Scott, mother of the late Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who was diagnosed at age one with neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer. Alex started with one lemonade stand in her front yard and, by the time of her death in 2004, had raised $1 million and inspired a legacy of hope and cures for childhood cancer.
