Doug Charney, of Charney Investment Group, Accepts Chapter Honoree Award for Beta Gamma Sigma

    HARRISBURG, PA, April 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Doug Charney of Charney Investment Group was presented the award of Chapter Honoree at the Beta Gamma Sigma ceremony held Friday, April 5, 2019. The event took place on the Penn State Harrisburg campus in the Morgan Gallery Library. The award is presented to persons who have achieved distinction in business, and who have furthered the honor society's ideals of honor and integrity, pursuit of wisdom, and earnestness through outstanding business and managerial leadership.

Upon acceptance of the award, Doug shared with fellow attendees "A Few I Woulds" for new business leaders, which offered tips that were both practical and memorable. Dinner preceded the ceremony and guests included new student inductees, their families, Penn state faculty members, and previous Chapter Honorees. One of the most valuable parts of the evening was the opportunity to meet with other individuals to discuss best practices in leadership and how to overcome challenges in a changing world.
