The new system enables customers to transmit their digital artwork – direct to the Ultimate Banners printing floor in Birmingham, UK. The Ultimate Banners team then checks the artwork to ensure it's ready to print and free from typos and colour imperfections. If the artwork is ready to print, the print technician approves it on the spot and queues it ready to print on their large format Anapurna printer. If the artwork is not ready to print, the print technician liaises directly with the customer about any required corrections.
The superfast artwork delivery system is reported to improve customer order speed by around 33%. The process removes agency mid-level account management and enables the Ultimate Banners printing staff to communicate directly with customers about their print orders.
