MILWAUKEE, WI, May 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Teens Grow Greens teams up with celebrity chefs for the annual "Chef's Dinner" event and auction. 250 guests will experience the skills and potential of the Teens as they plan, prepare and serve dinner with Funky Fresh Spring Rolls, Palat Catering, Saehee Chang, Odd Duck and Mr. Dye's Pies.
Hosted at the new Ivy House on May 30th, the "Chef's Dinner" celebrates the skills and potential of the Teens and Graduates of the internship. Guests can also bid on silent auction items like a Bucks season suite, Packers Tickets, a garden designed by the Teens Grow Greens crew and more to support the program.
Teens Grow Greens is a non-profit where Teens "learn, grow, and go." During a nine-month paid internship, local teens learn life skills through hand-on experience in mentorship, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. Their mission is so develop teens through transformative experiences that cultivate belonging, skill building and connections to opportunities that grow leadership.
To support the program and bring together what they've learned in their community, the Chef's Dinner is Teens Grow Greens' annual event where the teens showcase their learnings in agriculture, culinary arts and leadership. There's sure to be some creative and delicious dishes as the imaginations of the youth and the skills of professional chefs come together to support teens, learning and the neighborhood all in growth.
