/24-7PressRelease.com/ March 30th, 2005 - Manchester NH - SnappyBids.com, which had its launch last week, has added a new feature to its auction format. The "LIVE' 10 minute auction feature allows user to see an auctions opening and ongoing bids on their screen. If no one bids during the last 30 seconds, the auction closes. If a bidder bids anytime during the final 30 seconds of the 10 minute countdown, the bidding clock starts over for another 30 seconds until bidding stops.
According to Gina Moore, spokesperson for SnappyBids, "It's almost like being at a real auction, all that's missing is an auctioneer's cry, and we're trying to figure that one out", she said jokingly. "This is a fun, exciting feature for both sellers and buyers, and we have a voice tutorial on our site to help users understand it better," said Ms. Moore.
Snappybids offers a no listing fee program for a seller's basic auction listings and never charges any final sales commissions; and of course, for buyers, the service is free. Members pay an annual low fee to be able to take advantage of the free listings, and according to Ms. Moore, their Founding Member Program slashes the membership fee almost in half for the first year. "We help make it more profitable for sellers."
"This industry is growing rapidly and we offer an affordable venue for anyone who wants to be a part of it. We welcome users from any online auction site to compare our features and cost," said Ms Moore.
