Seongnam International Medical Tourism Convention Ends in Success! 68 Companies in 120 Booths, 25,000 Visitors including Domestic and Overseas Buyers

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 07, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 2019 Seongnam International Medical Tourism Convention, where you can experience everything about medical tourism and medical technology resources, was held in Seongnam City Hall from September 20 to 22.

The only event held in the local government-scale, it was hosted by Seongnam City and organized by Seongnam Medical Tourism Council and Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, and ended in success with the participation by 20,000 visitors made up of domestic and overseas buyers, industry officials and general public.

Under the theme "High Medi, Seongnam", specialized exhibitions like Seongnam International Medical Tourism Exhibition and Seongnam Medical Device Industry Exhibition and diverse programs like public experience special hall, KPTA Gyeonggi Branch, and international conferences were held to attract the visitors.

A total of 68 companies participated with 120-booth scale, filling up the vicinity of Seongnam City Hall. Throughout the exhibition period, medical device, medical tourism international conference, export consultation and Seongnam medical tourism fam tour took place. In the export consultation, 79 buyers from 13 countries participated and consulted 4 million-dollar worth of contract, a 49% increase from last year.

In the public special experience center prepared outside the event hall, elderly-friendly industrial hall and beauty special hall (hosted by AVING), and digital medical device experience center were set up to help the local related companies, medical organizations and clinics provide information on medical tourism industry to the general public, and this event received good reviews.

At the event, media like Lecafedugeek (France), SVPRESSA.RU (RUSSIA), YESKY (China), VietnamPlus (Vietnam), Geekazine (U.S.A), MyFatPocket (SINGAPORE), AVING RUSSIA TV (RUSSIA), IT Donga (Korea), Early Adapter (Korea) and Beta News (Korea) came to the event and introduced the participating companies. This was used as a great opportunity to promote Seongnam to the global stage.
