The most successful people in this world are also the best networkers
ATLANTA, GA, October 10, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In her debut book, "Hard Workers Work Hard. Networkers Move Up! author Crystal Khalil reveals networking and exposure as effective agents for achieving career advancement. Released August 19 through Amazon, the book reached the international best-seller list the same day.
In the 155-page paperback, Khalil outlines the cycle for growth inspired by her rise from first-generation college student to high performing corporate executive.
She said there are two steps on the cycle of growth she considers to be catalysts for transforming stifling behaviors – increasing your self-awareness and exploring outside your comfort zone. "Only when we step out and be seen will we truly be considered for the promotions we are working to attain," Khalil explained.
The book includes easy-to-follow illustrations to guide behavior change. Carefully crafted questions throughout the chapters prompt readers into relevant group discussions and provide aid for self-reflection.
In the book, Khalil reveals while it is possible to grow your career based on hard work alone, the ceiling is low.
"The most successful people in this world are also the best networkers," she said. "If you want to move past stuck, propel your career forward ten times faster, multiply your income, and achieve the success you have worked so hard for, networking is your answer."
Khalil now shares her message of advancement through networking to professionals around the U.S. and abroad. She says she hopes the insights she offers will motivate audiences and readers to take the steps necessary to reach the level of success they desire.
Steve Kidd, host of Thriving Entrepreneur Radio Show, says the book has given him clarity on why hard work alone is not enough when striving to move ahead.
"My grandfather was by far the hardest worker I have ever known," Kidd expressed. "But he never advanced in his career. Now I understand and see clearly why."
