The company's sponsorship comes as part of our objective of helping Qatar achieve the economic diversification and goals of the Qatar's National Food Security Program.

The latest edition of 'Made in Qatar' is the third time Qatar Chamber is holding the event outside Qatar, and it is expected to gather more than 220 companies and factories from the country on a 10,000 sqm exhibition area.
The expo is organized by the Qatar Chamber, in co-operation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Development Bank (QDB) as strategic partner, and in co-ordination with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
'Made in Qatar' aims at fostering co-operation and exchanging expertise between Qatari and Kuwaiti companies, in addition to informing the Kuwaiti business community on Qatar's products and opening new markets for both large and small Qatari companies.
Established in 2014, BFI has grown to be Qatar's largest locally owned fresh dairy and beverage supplier and has helped Qatar achieve 95% self-sufficiency in fresh milk. BFI has invested in bringing in the best breed of Holstein cows, famously known for the quality of milk they produce. The farms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology spans over 40 hectares of land and is home to nearly 20,000 Holstein cows.
BFI's factory enjoys distinctive features, such as an area of 200,000sq m, five silos – each storing 100 tons of fresh milk, 48 unloading bays, and three loading bays for raw milk to be transported to the factory.
The factory's fully automated machines are operated by 140 employees, who were trained to use new generation machines imported from the UK, Europe, Turkey, and Lebanon.
BFI's fast-growing product line comprises 176 products, which include laban, labneh, ayran, cheese, ghee, oriental sweets, 100% natural juices, long-life milk, and long-life juice.
To diversify its products, BFI has begun manufacturing high-quality organic fertilizers in an environmentally friendly manner. The new venture will boost Qatar's agricultural capacity with organic fertilizer production of up to 40,000 tons a year with an aim to cover 40% of Qatar's needs.
