Chevo Consulting, LLC Hires Susan Smoter as Vice President

    ROCKVILLE, MD, May 27, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chevo Consulting, LLC (Chevo), announces the hiring of Susan Smoter in the key position of Vice President of the Treasury/IRS Account. Smoter joins Chevo from Palantir Technologies, where she supported client services and business development to federal agencies, including the Department of Treasury, the IRS, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Smoter brings with her 30 years of civil service and industry experience, including 11 years as a senior executive at the IRS, where she led developing and delivering multiple, large programs, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE2). She also led the IRS Portal Program and implemented Product Management industry best practices, resulting in irs.gov becoming the top federal site, winning numerous awards for improving the Customer Experience.

She is on the board of the Association of Former Internal Revenue Executives (AFIRE) and a co-chair of the Professional Services Council (PSC) Treasury Team. Smoter earned a Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, Whiting School of Engineering.
