Telemedicine Group Adds Former Texas Hospital Leader to Board of Directors

    DALLAS, TX, July 28, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gary Brock, former senior executive with Baylor Scott & White Health, has joined the board of directors of Access Physicians, a Dallas-based, physician-led telemedicine company specializing in high-acuity inpatient telemedicine.

Brock served Baylor Scott & White Health for more than 30 years in numerous leadership roles, including president of Baylor Medical Center-Garland, senior vice president of managed care and physician network development for Baylor Health Care System prior to its 2013 merger with Scott & White Healthcare, and BHCS executive vice president. He served as chief operating officer of Baylor Health Care System from 2005 to 2014. From 1994 to 2013, he was also president of HealthTexas Provider Network, BSWH's 501(a) physician organization with a network of primary care and specialty physicians. Under his leadership, BSWH created one of the largest, most respected accountable care organizations in Texas and one of the top performing ACOs in the nation, ensuring the training of new generations of physicians in quality standards of care.
