NEW ORLEANS, LA, September 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Morris Bart, LLC, the personal injury firm that serves Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas, received so many outstanding applications for its Morris Bart, LLC Community Service Scholarship that, for the first time, it awarded the scholarship to two students instead of one.
Na'Lani Zeno of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, LA, and Brooke Butler of Stockton University in Galloway, NJ, will each receive the $2500 scholarship.
As a 40-year personal injury firm, the Morris Bart Law Firm knows that a community is built upon many pillars — community service stands strong with the legal, education, government, and other systems.
Both Miss Zeno and Miss Butler are examples of young people who give back.
Miss Zeno, 21, is a senior at Centenary. She is from Lafayette, LA, and is a chemistry major who plans to attend pharmacy school. She's already a student researcher in the chemistry department. She is the Assistant Student Director of her campus Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and The Big Event, two student-led service days that provide aid to the Shreveport community.
"The most outstanding service I've taken part in thus far in my lifetime would have to be
volunteering at The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Shreveport,'' Miss Zeno wrote.
Miss Butler of Baton Rouge, LA, served in various organizations throughout her young life, including with a church group called Devoted. The group helps people in nursing homes, single mothers, and others in need in their community.
Morris Bart, LLC. is committed to supporting college students who go above and beyond. They also offer a second scholarship, The Morris Bart, LLC Anti-Distracted Driving Scholarship.
